After they had eaten their fill,
Xu Feng and his wife gave Xu Mu strange looks.
Xu Feng said to him,
"Son!"
"Your mom and I are heading back!"
"Watch yourself!"
At his father's words, Xu Mu's face darkened.
For one thing, his father's mind was downright filthy.
Xu Mu shot Xu Feng a disdainful look.
But Xu Feng acted as if he hadn't noticed.
He turned to Kale and asked,
"When are you leaving?"
Kale's face darkened at Xu Feng's words.
What was that supposed to mean?
They had just finished eating, and he was already being kicked out?
Out of his own home, no less!
But when he looked at Xu Mu and Cynthia beside him,
Kale sighed helplessly.
He said to Xu Feng,
"I'll leave in a bit!"
"A bit?" Xu Feng threw an arm around Kale's shoulders.
"Why wait?"
"Come on!"
"Let's have ourselves a nice long chat!"
With that, he ignored Kale's struggles
and dragged him out of the house.
Watching Kale struggle the whole way,
Xu Mu stood to one side with a faint smile.
Then he said to Xu Feng,
"That's enough!"
"Let Uncle Kale stay at my place tonight!"
At Xu Mu's words, Xu Feng had no choice but to let Kale go.
Kale was deeply moved by what Xu Mu had said.
Then a troubling thought struck him.
Wait a minute!
Isn't this my house?
How did it become "staying at your place"?
Kale looked at Xu Mu in bewilderment.
How can this kid be so shameless?
An ordinary person couldn't pull that off even if he tried!
Xu Mu caught Kale's look.
How could he not know what Kale meant?
So he pretended not to understand and asked,
"What's wrong, Uncle Kale? You don't want to stay at my place?"
