Poor Misty could only stare at Jessie and stammer.
She couldn't get a word out.
Her face was full of anger.
Her little cheeks flushed bright red!
Seeing this, Cynthia quickly said to them both:
"Enough!"
"Let's go back!"
"Like I said, you two need to win your own matches!"
"Then you'll face each other in the final!"
Misty felt a little better after hearing that.
But there was still anger in the way she looked at Jessie.
Jessie, however, paid Misty no attention at all.
Xu Mu watched the scene unfold.
He couldn't help laughing out loud.
But when the other three looked at him,
Xu Mu promptly raised his head toward the sky.
With delight written all over his face, he said:
"What lovely weather today!"
He followed that with an awkward laugh.
Misty and Jessie looked up at the sky too.
Misty said to Xu Mu glumly:
"Look at the sky yourself!"
"The dark clouds are so thick you can barely see anything!"
At that, Xu Mu said to Misty with a solemn face:
"How can you say that?"
"Never mind!"
"You two just haven't reached my level yet!"
"Once you do, you'll be able to see it!"
With that, Xu Mu gave Misty a disappointed look.
Then he hurriedly took Cynthia's hand and walked off.
Misty was left standing there, utterly bewildered.
She looked at Jessie and asked in confusion:
"What level is Xu Mu at?"
Jessie gave Misty a scornful look.
"The level where he can make things up without missing a beat!"
With that, Jessie followed Xu Mu.
She paid Misty no further attention.
Poor Misty stood there alone in the wind, completely at a loss.
She couldn't think of a thing to say!
Misty watched the others walk away.
