Anyone else would never have indulged Cynthia like this.
Seeing Xu Mu's expression,
Cynthia gave him an embarrassed smile.
But there was one more thing.
Xu Mu still wouldn't let Cynthia eat too much.
Cynthia knew that, too.
So, for the past five years,
Xu Mu had always indulged Cynthia,
but he had never let her eat too much.
Xu Mu said to Cynthia,
"You can eat it!"
"But not too much!"
At his words, Cynthia smiled faintly.
Then she said to him,
"Okay!"
"I won't eat too much!"
She looked eager to please as she spoke.
She had no choice. If she didn't get on Xu Mu's good side,
he really wouldn't let her eat any!
So Cynthia could only let him keep her portions in check.
Poor Cynthia!
Xu Mu then took Cynthia straight home!
[Ding!] [The system has issued a mission!] [Explore the new world!]
Before Xu Mu could finish thinking, the system yanked him into a new world.
He looked around him.
Xu Mu was dumbfounded.
What was going on?
He hadn't even had a chance to speak!
The system had just dragged him in.
Nothing like this had ever happened before!
Xu Mu asked the system in confusion,
"What's going on?"
"Since when do you take the initiative?"
At his words, the system chimed again.
It told Xu Mu,
[Ding!] [The system was worried the host would refuse!]
Hearing that,
Xu Mu felt utterly helpless.
He really didn't want this!
Still, there was one saving grace.
That damn system had at least told him.
If it had dragged him in
without saying a word,
Xu Mu would have found a way to destroy it.
But the system had already pulled him into this world,
so Xu Mu said nothing more.
