Now that was good news!
At least for Kale and the others.
It was much better than searching for suitable targets one by one.
Besides, Kale had just thought Xu Mu didn't want to fight head-on.
He'd thought Xu Mu wanted to retreat.
Otherwise, why hadn't he let them give chase?
Xu Mu knew exactly what he was doing.
He didn't take Athena's people seriously at all.
In his eyes,
Athena's forces were laughably weak.
He had no desire to hunt them down one by one.
Once they gathered together,
Xu Mu and the others could go after them.
What could be better?
Seeing Xu Mu's expression,
Kale asked him in confusion,
"When do we start?"
Xu Mu smiled faintly at Kale's question.
Then he said, "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it."
"There's no rush."
"For now, everyone needs to set up camp."
Kale nodded.
But Xu Mu went on,
"Uncle Kale!"
"Uncle Kale!"
"I'll leave command of this war to you two!"
Kale looked baffled.
Why?
He stared at Xu Mu.
Then he asked again,
"But you're the leader of this war!"
Xu Mu said nothing.
He merely put on an air of unfathomable wisdom.
The others had no idea what to say to that.
Kale and Xu Feng could only exchange a glance.
Then they looked helplessly at Xu Mu.
The truth was, Xu Mu had his own reasons.
It wasn't anything complicated.
He simply
didn't want to work that hard.
So he handed the responsibility to Kale and Xu Feng.
Only Xu Mu knew what he was thinking!
No one else had a clue.
And Xu Mu wasn't about to tell them!
"Chief, what do we do?"
What should we do, Leader?
One of her subordinates asked her, his face full of fear.
