History
Huo Yuhao encounters Jin Ruir as the Three-Eyed Golden Lion in the Star Dou Great Forest. Recognizing that her Destiny Power protects the forest, he draws on it by pressing his forehead to hers. Their merged energies give her human form, but she objects to what he has taken and vows to reclaim it 18.
She later enters a Heavenly Screen comparison to help Yuhao, introduces herself by name, and fights Gu Yuena with her Golden Dragon Spear. Tang Wulin’s emerging Dragon God’s Power overwhelms her despite her six-ring advantage. After her team wins, she copies that same power from him 36 37 38. She subsequently confronts Yuhao over his pursuit of the Ferocious Beast Demon Spirit, then joins his Seven Heroes because she sees a possible path to changing the Soul Beasts’ fate 44.
During the Soul Beast invasion of the Peerless Era, Jin Ruir uses her authority to halt the charging beast army. She opposes the Silver Dragon King’s willingness to sacrifice Soul Beasts for the Dragonfolk, arguing that the beasts should choose their own future. The Silver Dragon King strikes her with a spear; Jin Ruir’s appeal to Di Tian helps persuade him to evacuate the beasts rather than continue the assault. Yuhao tries to save her, and the spear wound later vanishes when he defeats the Silver Dragon King 92 93 96.
Afterward, Jin Ruir secures Yuhao’s agreement to let surviving Soul Beasts settle in the ascending Peerless World. She points to the Soul Spirit method as a way to supply Soul Rings without hunting them. She later chooses to become the God of Destiny to help the Seven Heroes fight the Abyss Monarch, despite Yuhao’s warning that acting then may limit her future potential 116 122.

Her cooperation with him rests on her commitment to the Soul Beasts, not merely on the rewards he offers 44. She challenges his killing and rejects plans that treat Soul Beasts as expendable, even when doing so puts her against the Silver Dragon King 87 93.
She is also protective of Yuhao: she shields him when he is exhausted, offers to sacrifice herself for him, and pleads for his return when he appears to have died. He repeatedly refuses to let her bear that cost alone 51 70 96.
