• Shrek comparisons: Gu Yuena enters Tang Wulin’s match against Huo Yuhao, protects him from spiritual attacks, and helps turn the fight. She backs down rather than test Electrolux’s strength 35 37.
• Conflict with her past self: Her attempt to summon the earlier Silver Dragon King backfires. Gu Yuena breaks her seal to save Tang Wulin, but Electrolux subsequently drains much of her Silver Dragon essence, vitality, and soul power 79 80 81 82.
• Soul Beast leadership: After the Era Comparison begins, Di Tian and the Ferocious Beasts prevent her from leaving the Lake of Life, accusing her of putting Tang Wulin ahead of the Soul Beast Clan 85.
