Homelander vanished from where he stood.
In an instant, he appeared before Edgar, seized him by his suit collar, and lifted him off the floor.
"Say that again?" Homelander demanded, looking up at the frail old man.

Homelander looked back at the surveillance footage on the screen.
The boy in the footage did look somewhat like him.
He had the same blond hair and face shape. From the side, even his eyes and brow bore a resemblance.
Homelander had not noticed it before. Now, seeing the boy in a different light, he felt an inexplicable sense of closeness.
For some reason, with so many emotions crowding in on him, his eyes grew damp.

"He's with his mother." Edgar straightened his wrinkled
