After explaining who Edgar was, Homelander let out a breath and sat down on the couch.

"Ryan, why would you want to see the doctor? That man isn't worth meeting."

As Ryan answered, he looked toward the kitchen, where Becca was following the dishwasher's instructions to start it.

She looked as though she was thinking, I might as well wash them by hand.
