What could be better than receiving a huge shipment of grain?
A huge shipment of freshly baked bread and prepared food.
The mages were fine. They either had apprentices looking after them or had brought Servants or magic puppets. But the cavalry transferred in from across the land and the mercenaries who had come to help had never enjoyed such treatment. Annan won a great deal of goodwill from them.
