The whole Allen World would remember this day.
From the first shoots beneath the water to the Floating City that first let people touch the sky...
All right, Airships didn't mean much to the Allen World.
But Free City would certainly remember this day.
The Airship was the second means of transportation after the Magic-Powered Train, and its creator was Martin—though Annan had offered plenty of ideas behind the scenes.
After the Airship landed, Annan led the workers who had taken part in a round of applause. He told the grinning Martin, "Go tell Aunt Susan the good news. She'll be proud of you."
Free City encouraged invention and creativity. Annan summoned the finance officials and told them to quickly work out rewards for everyone involved in making the Airship. Then he hurried back to the City Lord's Mansion.
The Princess was still in the Restaurant, clumsily eating with a spoon. She kept flinging food around like a child digging in the Sand at the beach, but the fact that she was doing it at all showed how much better she was getting.
Should he find the Princess a teacher to help her with everyday life?
The Princess was shy around strangers. For now, only Eldest Sister, Dade, the Elf Mentor, and a handful of others could get close to her.
They were all busy, while he seemed to have time on his hands...
Annan asked Abby, the Head Maid, to bring another set of utensils. He sat beside the Princess and guided her hands as he taught her how to use them.
Before long, Luoxi rushed in again.
Annan and the Princess looked up at the same time.
"Lord Annan, the Airship crashed into a house!"
Annan glanced out the window. He saw no smoke or heard any shouting.
