"You're right."

The Rat King spoke, its claw severed. Its thunderous whisper echoed through the Bloody Arena and beyond.

The Rat King swung a claw as large as the armored behemoth. It looked slow, but sand and gravel flew up and rattled against the Bloody Arena's stone wall a hundred meters away. The armored behemoth had no time to dodge.

"So I must atone."

As though seizing a stray dog that had lunged at it, the Rat King closed its claw around the armored behemoth. The creature instantly lost the strength to fight back. The Rat King lifted it and hurled it with all its might—

"I will avenge my Clan! Vengeance is the greatest atonement!"

Sand and stone flew as a roar echoed above the Bloody Arena. The armored behemoth became a falling star, streaking hundreds of meters with a shrill howl before smashing into a cluster of shacks. Buildings collapsed, sending dust billowing into the air.

Only several seconds later did the crash reach the Bloody Arena.

Embedded in the rock wall, the armored behemoth let out one long breath and died.

Annan shook his head. He admitted that the armored behemoth's three axe strikes had been impressive, but finding a few weak points could not bridge such a vast difference in size.
