"Magic Mirror, you should know I'm the one who restored you. So... who's the most handsome man in the world?"
"Liliana Lore."
Annan's threat hadn't worked. Well, maybe this Liliana was a Legendary Sorcerer or something...
"Magic Mirror, Magic Mirror, who's the most beautiful woman in the world?" Annan tried a different question, but got no answer.
"The repaired Magic Mirror only works once a day," Howler said.
"How do you know?"
This wasn't prejudice, but Orcs really had nothing to do with Magic.
"Just Musing."
Having wasted a precious chance, Annan had a Blacksmith Shop apprentice take the "Divine Artifact" to the Lord's Manor for now, then went to Ulmit's Forest Manor.
Nothing stayed secret in Star-Moon Bay. The Count from the Violet Kingdom already knew his homeland had fallen. Built like a bear, he squeezed out a few tears and said he would go back to rebuild it, one house at a time.
It probably wasn't an act—Count Ulmit immediately gathered his men, announced the news with a tough expression, and kicked a few of the ones who started wailing.
Then these red-eyed men could hardly wait to go back, take revenge, and rebuild the Castle. The Captain of the Guard said they were as tough as people from the Northern Frontier.
"My brother, you have to help me," Ulmit pleaded with Annan.
"What can I do for you?"
"Food, tools, and that stuff called cement."
Annan agreed to sell them to Ulmit at an ally's price, then returned to the Lord's Manor. Before opening the Portal aboard New Origin One, he warned Leila, "No fighting."
"Hmph. Boring." Leila ran out of the Lord's Manor, and Annan saw her head toward the Bay.
She obviously wanted to catch a big fish to show off.
He opened the Portal.
