"Annan Potter and the Magic Stone" began taking shape in an orderly fashion.
The first question was Character.
Annan would play Annan Potter, and Alice would play Alice Granger. Annan had wanted Theophilus to play Theophilus Weasley, but asking him to portray a complete fool was a bit much. So he returned to his original choice: Martin Weasley.
Dean Breichim would play Headmaster Dumbledore, and Mrs. Vanessa agreed to play Mrs. McGonagall. "Why can't I be called Mrs. Vanessa in the Magic Film?" she asked, in a tone that suited the Character perfectly. Annan replied, "The way the story unfolds will make viewers who have trouble separating reality from the Magic Film either love or hate the Characters. So it's better to have some differences."
To himself, Annan said, "I have to keep some elements, or I'll forget what I'm filming."
It was simply nostalgia from a man who could never go home.
There were other Characters, too, such as Snape, Luna, and the Red Demon King. After Alice said her father would not play Snape, Annan decided to choose someone from among the professors in Salz. His choice for Luna was Isabel, and he had already sent her a letter. If her Uncle stopped her, he could pick someone from Sienna's Sisterhood instead.
Annan had designed the Red Demon King in Agawar's image from the start. He would not appear in the first film anyway; they only needed Tina to put a face on someone's head.
Betty had once been a well-known Actor at the Benitez Grand Theater and had trained the cast of "The Mage Tower's Fall." She had since become a resident of Star-Moon Bay, and training the cast of "Annan Potter and the Magic Stone" would be well within her abilities.
