Like the Otherworld Tree Branch, the Wooden Box could not be put in a Magic Ring. Annan slipped it into his pocket and planned to find a flowerpot for the branch.

Humanoid took over Candle Head's job and ran out of the Tomb.
"Be careful," Annan called after him.
The Skeleton King erased the traces of the Magic Circle and said to Annan, "Your 'Magic Mirror' is unusual. Come take a look."
Annan followed him to the Alchemy Room. The Magic Mirror lay on a stone table, with fragments scattered beside it.
"I discovered that the outer glass can be peeled away. What makes it work isn't the mirror's surface, but something hidden inside."
"What is it?"
"I haven't opened it yet. It belongs to you."
The Skeleton King had more integrity than many humans... Then again, he had reportedly been a king in life.
Annan stepped up to the stone table. The Skeleton King had already removed the Mithril used to bind the pieces together, so Annan could peel away the Mirror Shards like an eggshell.
Near the Handle, an Ancient Pattern that did not belong to the Magic Mirror appeared behind a shard.
The pattern suddenly seemed familiar to Annan, as though he had seen it somewhere before... Following his intuition, he touched the real "Magic Mirror" with a finger.
Information surfaced in Annan's mind in a way he could not understand, yet somehow experienced: the Wise One could provide one answer each day. It knew everything.
