A vast procession advanced through the land of eternal night toward the Blood Council.
They wore gleaming silver tempered steel plate armor, and every one of them was an elite. They held banners high enough for every bat passing overhead to see:

Half a day into the journey, a vampire finally gave in to his hunger and landed in front of them.
