Filming on "Five Hundred Years of Terror" moved quickly.
The Land of Eternal Night had no daylight, and venturing outside the Blood Council's territory to film was a bad idea. So, for the first time, Annan split the cast into two crews. Betty filmed the daytime scenes without him in Free City. And with no day or night in the Land of Eternal Night, the actors lost track of time. Sometimes they woke after four hours of sleep, unable to drift off again, convinced a whole night had passed.
Annan was confident he could finish the fifth Magic Film in two months. By then, the publicity would have had time to build, and he could return to Free City before the three-month deadline to inspect the three legions.
