Seven or eight minutes later.
Black Flame Bar.
The Vendor, the Cook, and the Retainer stood before the bar counter.
"When the ritual restarted, I couldn't sense any of you. I thought there were no ritual officiants left."
Qianqian spoke with a sigh.
The Cook sighed too.
"If there were no ritual officiants, the Dark Crown Ritual couldn't continue. Everything would be over."
All three looked shaken.
"How did you survive?" Qianqian couldn't help asking.
"The Jailer. Before he died, he used Imprisonment on us. We hid in the dungeon and endured until now. At last, we've seen daylight again," the Retainer said. "The Dark Crown Ritual must have been started by a Blood Saint. Have you met him?" Qianqian asked.
Ding-dong!
The bar door swung open.
A tall, graceful beauty with a cool expression walked in, wearing gold-rimmed glasses.
She glanced toward the bar counter, seemingly by chance.
"Who? We haven't met anyone," the Vendor said earnestly.
"As soon as we woke up, we hurried back to the temple. We don't know a thing," the Cook added.
"The First Blood Saint is probably shy. He's hiding somewhere and hasn't come to see us," the Retainer said.
"And none of you went looking for him?" Qianqian asked in surprise.
"No," all three said together.
The cool beauty found an empty seat, sat down, and casually flipped through a magazine on the table.
The air suddenly began to circulate.
The atmosphere grew lighter.
Even the lights above the bar counter shone brighter.
The Vendor secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
The Cook took out a white handkerchief and began wiping his sweat.
The Retainer grabbed a glass from the bar counter and drained it in one gulp.
An Attendant God!
*And a flawless Attendant God at that, not some worthless thing
