Shen Bing was worried that the Primordial Fiendgod would slip away, so he revived immediately after dying and teleported back without hesitation.
But the moment he arrived in the Land of Primordial Chaos, before he could even get his bearings, an arrow streaked toward him like a meteor and pierced straight through his body.
Without the slightest suspense, the Mist-Ethereal Adept, so mysterious and unfathomable in the eyes of other gods, died again. It was a swift and utterly decisive death.
Shen Bing felt rather frustrated. He had never encountered anything like this before. It seemed the Primordial Godfiend was even harder to deal with than he had imagined.
Giving up now was not Shen Bing's style. It was only ten immortal jade per teleportation. He could afford that much.
Opening the map attached to the Teleportation Talisman, Shen Bing saw that the enormous Primordial Fiendgod was still in the same spot, wearing an expression as though he had encountered some insoluble mystery.
The Primordial Fiendgod's head bore some resemblance to a human's, except that his skin had the texture of rock. His body, however, was nothing remotely like a human's.
Each of his six arms held a weapon, including a bow and arrows.
He also had three tails and no feet.
Actually, whether a Primordial Fiendgod had feet hardly mattered. In the Land of Primordial Chaos, chaos energy filled every direction, with no solid ground anywhere. Feet really served little purpose in such an environment. A tail would be far more useful.
"This guy should have a blind spot, right?" Shen Bing frowned.
If this fellow fired an arrow the instant he appeared every time, then even if he had time to activate the Soul-Shocking Spell, the arrow could still pierce his body in an instant.
