When Shen's Father saw Shen Bing open the door of the Wuling Hongguang in the parking lot, he looked as though he'd just stepped in dog shit.
"Son? This car is yours? Aren't you taking this act a little too far?" Shen's Father asked, eyes wide. His vocabulary always kept up with the times.
Shen Bing gave a wry smile. "Would you believe me if I said I bought it specifically to deal with Mom?"
"Uh... you could at least have bought a midsize car, like a Passat or something. A Wuling Hongguang? That's just embarrassing." His father spared no effort in belittling his son.
Shen Bing had nothing to say. He couldn't help it; when he'd decided to buy a car that afternoon, the little scheming devil inside him had won out.
