Shen Bing first stopped by his office. As he passed the doorway beside it, his secretary, Yan Lexuan, who was sorting documents inside, spotted him and immediately came over.
"Boss, Mayor Tian and the others are already waiting in the conference room. General Manager Wang is keeping them company. When would you like to go over?" Yan Lexuan's voice was gentle, matching her misty, rain-softened southern elegance.
Shen Bing did not answer. Instead, he asked, "How many of them are there?"
"Six, including Mayor Tian. Four men and two women."
"How old are the two women?"
"One is around thirty, and the other is in her forties." Although Yan Lexuan wondered why her boss had suddenly asked about their ages—and specifically those of the two women—her first duty as his Secretary was to provide whatever information he needed.
"What does the woman in her forties look like? Do you know which department she's from?" Shen Bing frowned slightly.
"Her appearance?" Yan Lexuan said. "She's quite slim, with long hair pinned up. Oh, right, I think she has a red mole on her right earlobe."

Seeing the look on her boss's face, as though he were marching to his death, Yan Lexuan could not help asking, "Boss, is there something wrong with that woman?"
