Shen Bing knew exactly how the research into stealth material was progressing. It was one of the research projects he had been following most closely lately.
The invisibility sequence Royard mentioned was the molecular invisibility sequence.
Royard had discovered this sequence by observing shared surface characteristics after experimenting on different animals.
Animals became invisible after taking the Invisibility Potion not because they produced some special substance or because the molecular structure of their skin changed. Only the arrangement of their molecules changed.
After several experiments, with Qiuqiu's assistance, Royard and the others successfully recorded this molecular sequence and fully abstracted it.
However, this was only the first step of the experiment. The key was figuring out how to arrange other molecules in the same way.
After repeated experiments, they finally synthesized an entirely new inorganic material by imitating the shared characteristics of these creatures' skin molecules.
Then, using Molecular Pulverization and Reforging Technology, they broke this material down into individual molecules. By adjusting the reforging frequency, they could give it the invisibility sequence.
This also demonstrated the power of Molecular Pulverization and Reforging Technology. It was 2-star technology, after all. Using it only to dig holes would have been a tremendous waste.
As its name suggested, Molecular Pulverization and Reforging consisted of two steps: pulverization and reforging.
There was little to explain about pulverization. Whatever the material, it was broken directly down into molecules. Reforging, on the other hand, could be done in several ways.
The essence of reforging was to bind the molecular powder together again using high-frequency electromagnetic waves and high-energy radiation. Skillful application of these two methods could alter molecular force fields, thereby controlling molecular spacing and arrangement.
That sounded simple, but controlling the energy of electromagnetic waves and high-energy radiation at the level of molecular forces
