What Shen Bing wanted most was to buy a Peach of Immortality. Even the lowest-grade variety could instantly turn someone into an Immortal. How could anything else compare?
But setting aside whether what Shen Bing knew about the peaches was even true, if it was, all his Immortal jade probably wouldn't cover a fraction of the price.
Besides, even if he had enough Immortal jade to buy one, he would still need the right connections.
The Peaches of Immortality were the private property of the Queen Mother of the West, one of the Immortal Realm Bigwigs. Shen Bing figured very few people in the Immortal Realm had the connections to get into her good graces.
Leaving aside what the peaches actually cost, Shen Bing reckoned there were far fewer people who could afford them than people who actually managed to obtain them.
This was no longer a matter of having money. Status mattered more.
Clearly, Shen Bing's current status wasn't good enough. He probably couldn't even compare to an ordinary minor Immortal. And he wanted to eat a Peach of Immortality? He would be lucky to get a piece of the peel.
For now, he had better put that idea aside and think about something more practical.

But Shen Bing had already developed a Subconscious Implantation device. Although this method was far inferior to using a Basic Beast-Subjugation Talisman, it was just about adequate for the humans currently on Earth.
