"By the way, didn't you say someone reported me for kidnapping? You can go in and look. But let me make this clear first: if you don't find anyone, you have to tell me who filed the report. I'll sue him for making false accusations." Shen Bing stared hard at the man. The fat policeman had climbed to his feet by then. Perhaps he hadn't expected Shen Bing to let them inside, because he said excitedly, "No problem! The person who reported you provided very reliable evidence. Otherwise, we wouldn't have come into the Hilton Hotel to conduct a search."
The corners of Shen Bing's mouth lifted slightly. He was now completely certain his suspicions were right.
These policemen were impostors!
Before these "policemen" arrived, Shen Bing had already grown suspicious of the man Little Doudou had knocked unconscious.
No matter which faction the man belonged to, they couldn't possibly be so reckless as to send a single person to kidnap him—unless that person was a real-life 007 or one of the superheroes from the Avengers.
Obviously, that was impossible.
Yet the man had done exactly that, which could mean only one thing: the other side had a backup plan.
What was that backup plan?
By now, it was obvious.
If that unlucky bastard actually managed to kidnap him, the mastermind would naturally be delighted. But if he failed, they would send policemen to his door.
Under normal circumstances, if someone sneaked into his room and got caught, Shen Bing certainly wouldn't let him go easily. He would either call the police or deal with the intruder himself.
Either way, the man would remain in his room.
If he called the police himself, officers would probably arrive soon afterward, then quite naturally ask him to come to the police station
