Much of his earlier work had also been in preparation for this plan, including the Dragon Scale Security Software.
The Baseband chip was the heart of a mobile phone. If a phone were compared to a computer, its Baseband chip would be the computer's main unit, while its screen would merely be the monitor, mouse, and keyboard.
By now, Shen Bing's objective was obvious: the mobile phone market.
Well... that was not entirely accurate. The handheld computer market would be a more precise description—though not the so-called handheld computers that had been popular years earlier.
It was an ambitious undertaking, and Shen Bing was working toward it one step at a time.
While Shen Bing was busy, he suddenly received a call from Wang Sheng.
"General Manager Wang, what is it?"
"Chairman, you went to London and turned the place upside down, yet you haven't even visited the company since you got back. Aren't you enjoying this hands-off boss routine a little too much?" King Sheng could not resist complaining right off the bat.
Shen Bing laughed easily. "You're there to look after the company, aren't you? With you handling things, I have nothing to worry about."
King Sheng was speechless. Other professional managers worried more about their bosses restricting their authority. In his case, his boss was nowhere to be found all day, and that was just as much of a headache.
"You know about what happened at Phantom Vision Company, right?"
"Of course! A very successful product launch," Shen Bing said. "Ding Miao is capable, and he set a good price too. It's exactly what I wanted."
