Simpson stepped out of the Helicopter, followed by four or five other people.

"Owen, where is he?" he asked the moment his feet touched the deck.

A middle-aged man in a suit, with a face that looked prematurely aged, immediately replied, "Director, he's locked in one of the cabins inside."

"You haven't exposed your identities, have you?"

"That isn't for us to decide," Simpson said at once, fixing him with a hard stare.

Just then, Simpson's phone rang. He checked it, saw that it was the Presidential Assistant calling, and immediately answered.

"Director Simpson, you must get Mr. Luo back to shore unharmed, without exposing your identities. Those are the president's orders."

Simpson looked pained. "Aide Stanley, releasing hostages isn't how thugs operate. It'll make people suspicious. Could you speak to the president?"
