The most important reason Shen Bing had decided against using the Nine Heavens Divine Talisman for now was that he had no idea how far this Ghostly Place was from Mount Huaguo.
If it was too far away, there was no telling how long it would take to escort King Yuzei there.
But if he could persuade King Yuzei to go to Mount Huaguo on his own, it would undoubtedly save him a great deal of time.
Still thinking, Shen Bing walked through the gate and heard laughter coming from the courtyard.
"Yuan Wei, look at this little fellow. It isn't afraid of strangers at all," Yun Xue said. "Wow! It's so fast!"
"I have no idea how this little fellow grew so quickly," Yuan Wei said. "It only hatched two days ago."
Shen Bing looked up and saw Yuan Wei and Yun Xue gathered in front of the Immortal Peach Tree, watching the Bird's Nest tucked among its branches.
It seemed Little Sparrow had finally hatched. His gaze shifted, and he spotted two sparrows hopping along a branch.
They were as unafraid of people as ever, flying over to the Bird's Nest one moment and hopping onto Yun Xue's shoulder the next.
"What are you looking at? Has Little Sparrow hatched?" Shen Bing asked with a smile.
Both women immediately turned around and smiled warmly when they saw him.
"Shen Bing, did everything go smoothly on your trip?" Yun Xue asked.
"Pretty well. It's much safer here than abroad. At least I don't have to worry about a bullet flying out of nowhere and blowing my head off," Shen Bing joked as he approached.
Through the Immortal Peach Tree's relatively sparse branches, Shen Bing could see the Bird's Nest and the three Little Sparrows inside, already covered in down.
