Shen Bing was delighted at the sight. Just when he'd thought he was at a damn dead end, a way forward had opened up.
He immediately pushed the Skyflying Shuttle to its maximum speed, first circling the area to enrage every member of the Monster Race, then speeding away.
Since Shen Bing had approached from within the Demon Realm, none of them suspected he had any connection to the Immortal Realm. Naturally, they never imagined he was deliberately luring them away.
Every monster gave chase, eager to tear Shen Bing to pieces.
Feeling smug, Shen Bing took the hulking creatures out for a little run.
After the time it took to drink a cup of tea, Shen Bing glanced at the monsters chasing him and decided he had run far enough.
With a thought, the Skyflying Shuttle vanished, leaving Shen Bing suspended in midair.
Uh, he seemed to be plummeting rapidly...
The monsters pursuing him were baffled. He had been fleeing perfectly well, so why had he suddenly stopped? Was he planning to stand and fight to the death?
That made them nervous. In particular, the few monsters leading the pursuit stopped at once.
Although they all believed Shen Bing had instantly killed the Demon Emperor Clone with outside help, who knew whether he could call on that help again? Charging straight at him would be suicide, wouldn't it?
A moment later, they saw that their target had hovered in the air for less than half a second before dropping toward the ground.
What was he playing at now?
Before they could work it out, their target vanished into thin air.
An evasion technique? How could he use one in midair? Air wasn't one of the Five Phases, was it? Had this fellow invented Qi Evasion?
