Li Xiao immediately fell silent. If even Bean Master only got one, he felt he had done pretty well for himself.
Shen Bing looked them over. Seeing nothing unusual, he relaxed.
He had worried that eating the Immortal Peaches might cause the sort of bodily cleansing described in novels, purging impurities and giving them diarrhea. Now it seemed he had simply been overthinking things.
Little Doudou had said the Immortal Peaches had gentle medicinal properties. Presumably, they would only transform a person's body gradually, without any violent reactions.
That put Shen Bing much more at ease. At least he would not have to worry about any embarrassing scenes or explain anything.
