Clarence's previously calm expression turned excited the moment he heard Shen Bing's question.
"Boss, you have no idea! It was simply miraculous—the most miraculous thing I've ever seen in my life," Clarence said. "From the first blood sample to the last one delivered, every sample was significantly different from the next."
"Different in what way?" Shen Bing asked.
"The gene chain!" Clarence said. "Although each change was small, the strengthening it caused in the bones, muscles, and fascia was very pronounced. After countless accumulated changes, the body ultimately reached an exceptionally perfect form. According to our calculations, the final sample indicated muscle strength more than fifty times the normal level."
"Then do you know what caused this change? Or rather, what triggered these genetic changes?"
Clarence's face fell. "Well... we haven't figured that out yet. There must be some miraculous substance promoting these changes, but we haven't been able to detect what it is. It's much like the substance used in the Brain Development Technology we developed last time. We can't find any clues at all."
Shen Bing sighed. "Our underlying technology is holding us back! In a sense, we're still at the most basic stage of technological development."
Clarence was not particularly surprised by this. The more knowledgeable a person was, the better they understood the limitations of human technology. Even now, many phenomena could not be explained scientifically.
"Boss, I think so too. That's why I've preserved all the samples in those storage bags you gave me. Once our observation methods are more advanced, we can carry out comprehensive tests."
Shen Bing nodded. "That works! But we won't need to wait too long. I believe we'll make a breakthrough soon."
Clarence did not doubt that in the slightest.
Then Shen Bing asked, "Has Bernie had any success?"
Clarence
