Shen Bing was puzzled because this mecha was nothing more than a lump of metal. Although it had circuitry, it had no control core. In other words, it was a thing without a brain.
Could something like that serve as a vanguard?
"It really is a vanguard!" Clarence said. "Boss, it might not look like much right now, but our experiments have shown that the dark matter in that ring-shaped gene sequence has an incredibly complex structure. The energy and signal transmission we discovered earlier are only a small fraction of its functions. After several days of simulation and analysis, Qiuqiu arrived at the most likely conclusion: that gene sequence can do more than transfer energy to the alien spacecraft and transmit a location signal. It's also the prototype for the mecha's brain."
Shen Bing's mind raced, and an idea flashed through it. "You mean that if we cultivate that gene sequence, it could become an intelligent entity? Then, if we put it inside the mecha, it could control it?"
That was a bold conjecture! Although Phantom Immortal Technology had already become synonymous with black technology on Earth, its technological level was still a long way behind something like this.
Clarence nodded. "That is indeed the possibility closest to the truth."
Shen Bing frowned. This was a tricky problem!
There were only two ways to verify whether this theoretical deduction was correct. One was to find this alien civilization and see whether its technology really worked that way. The second was to cultivate the gene sequence and let the actual results speak for themselves.
The first method was pure nonsense. It was only theoretically possible.
The second was relatively practical, but it also carried enormous risks.
First, the gene sequence itself could transmit signals, and they still had not determined
