How was he supposed to decide without knowing any of that?

Shen Bing's mind raced as he weighed whether to tap confirm or cancel.

Previously, Shen Bing had assumed that a complete analysis gave him all the technology needed to reproduce an item in full, as with the Beyond-the-Horizon Telescope Technology.

Although the Over-the-Horizon Telescope couldn't compare to the Eye of Gods and Demons, its technology was indeed a complete package. It included the manufacturing processes for every component.

So why wasn't the Demon Puppet Artisan the same?

There had to be a difference somewhere. He simply hadn't figured it out yet.

Shen Bing glanced at the prompt again, and his eyes suddenly lit up.

Three categories! It said three categories, but I'd been reading it as three individual technologies.

A category here probably meant an entire technological system. The Over-the-Horizon Telescope Manufacturing Technology from before, when it came down to it, involved only optical imaging. Whether it was glass production and processing, chip manufacturing, or even image-processing software, everything was part of optical imaging.

The Demon Puppet Artisan was different. It was a complex whole, involving at least Energy Technology, Sensing Technology, Dynamic Analysis and Processing Technology, Bionic Technology, and even many technologies Shen Bing couldn't name.

Without question, the technologies within the Demon Puppet Artisan were far beyond anything mastered on Earth. They were bona fide black technology.

But if the technologies he extracted fell into relatively obscure categories, Shen Bing would lose out.

Practicality! Everything had to be practical.
