A difficult problem

When Shen Bing received Gao Jingchuan's call, he was anything but happy. He was furious.

Anyone woken from a sound sleep in the middle of the night would probably lose their temper.

Who didn't get cranky when they were woken up?

"What the hell is wrong with you? Why are you calling in the middle of the night instead of sleeping?"

"Shen, my friend, I understand how you feel. I felt exactly the same way five minutes ago. Now that I've seen your reaction, I feel much better." Gao Jingchuan sounded perfectly relaxed.

Shen Bing nearly smashed his phone. "You'd better have a good reason, or I'll get a few dozen employees to call and harass you every night."

"You're ruthless! But I really do have business to discuss. Want to hear the news about your Eagle Eye Type 1?"

"The higher-ups approved my purchasing proposal, didn't they?" Shen Bing said indifferently. "Transfer the two billion as soon as possible and send someone over tomorrow to sign the contract. That's it. I'm going to sleep." With that, he actually hung up.

On the other end, Gao Jingchuan looked utterly bewildered. He had no idea what had just happened.

Damn it, this was two billion! Couldn't you at least act a little surprised and happy?

Why did I call you in the middle of the night? All I wanted was that tiny bit of satisfaction.

What the hell was that, hanging up on me?

No, he had to clear this up, or he definitely wouldn't be able to sleep tonight.

Gao Jingchuan called again.

"Sorry, the number you have dialed is switched off. Sorry, you..."

Gao Jingchuan's eyes bulged, and he nearly went berserk. What the hell was this? The bastard actually turned his phone off!
