Everyone had worked out the logic, and the Chief and the others let out long Chief sighs of relief.
With this approach, what was three hundred billion U.S. Dollar? They could come up with twice that amount, and Huaxia might even make some money from it.
"Little Shen, how long would your company need to produce and deploy this equipment?" the Chief asked.
"If we run production at full capacity, we can produce two units a day," Shen Bing said.
The Chief frowned slightly. At two units a day, deploying the entire weapons system would take twenty-two days.
Normally, that would have been an incredibly short time, but Earth was facing an alien invasion. Who knew what new developments might arise over the next twenty-odd days?
The meal lasted more than an hour before Shen Bing and the others left with Secretary Jiang escorting them.
"Little Shen, sometimes I really wonder what that brain of yours is made of," Secretary Jiang said with a smile as they walked.
Yun Xue and Yuan Wei burst out laughing, both casting glances at Shen Bing.
Shen Bing rubbed his nose. "Cells, of course. What else would it be?"
"Heh..." Secretary Jiang was truly at a loss for words. This fellow should try telling deadpan jokes.
As they spoke, they reached the entrance, where Li Xiao was already waiting outside with the car.
"Little Shen, where are you planning to go sightseeing tomorrow? Shall I arrange for someone to be your guide?" Secretary Jiang asked.
Shen Bing immediately declined. "That won't be necessary. We're just going to wander around. We'll visit places like the Great Wall and the Forbidden City."
Secretary Jiang gave him a searching look. "Are you sure you're not just going there to look at crowds?"
"Hmm... people-watching is nice too."
