"Uh..." The Nine-Headed Worm was rather bewildered. "I wouldn't know about that. But before the Three Realms War, the Demon Emperor certainly wasn't a Sage. I never took part in the Three Realms War, either, so I don't know much about what happened during it. Perhaps something changed along the way."
Shen Bing felt rather helpless, too. The Nine-Headed Worm was hardly anyone important in the Heavenly Realm, much less a walking encyclopedia of gossip. It was perfectly normal for the creature to know nothing about many of its secrets.
Fortunately, this matter wasn't particularly important to Shen Bing. He could find an opportunity to ask someone else later.

"Secretary Jiang, what can I do for you?" Shen Bing asked with a smile.
Secretary Jiang chuckled with a touch of envy. "I reckon you're the only person in the world who can still stroll around shopping so leisurely, Little Shen."
Shen Bing gave an awkward chuckle. "I'm just stealing a little downtime. Do you expect me to look as miserable as everyone else, or run myself ragged like you lot?"

We negotiated with the American representatives this morning and reached a preliminary agreement on their entry into the joint defense system.
