"You're still keeping me in suspense, you brat?" the Chief demanded, his eyes widening. "Come on, tell me. I promise not to let it get out."
Well, the Chief's promise was certainly reliable. More importantly, it was rare for him to make a request like this. Shen Bing's supposed secret was nothing that special anyway; he had only kept it under wraps as a selling point.
"There's really not much to it once you know how it works," Shen Bing said. "My company has now achieved a preliminary implementation of Quantum Teleportation Technology. Players will enter this Virtual Reality Game through Game Pods. I plan to install a small Quantum Teleportation Device in each Game Pod. Whenever a player chooses to extract an item from the game world into reality, my staff will immediately teleport the corresponding item over."
The Chief stared blankly at Shen Bing.
"You really are a crafty little bastard, aren't you? You'll have the whole world running in circles. I bet countless people will think some god created this game," the Chief said with an amused scolding.
Shen Bing laughed it off. "As long as it works!"
Yet inwardly, his heart gave a jolt. If I'm fooling people like this, could some powerful figure have created my Gate to the Immortal Realm in the same way?
On further thought, though, that seemed unlikely. The Gate to the Immortal Realm contained the actual Immortal Realm. What sort of powerful figure could manipulate that?
Then Shen Bing reconsidered. Wait, that's not right! How can I prove that the world inside the Gate to the Immortal Realm is real? Not unless I can open the immortal-mortal passage and truly connect the two realms.
Well, that question was far too profound. Shen Bing could not figure it out for now.
