"Mr. Shen, is your company planning to develop the moon?" A man with an East Asian face stood up. Judging by his demeanor, however, he was probably from Korea.
"What would you like to know?" Shen Bing asked.
The man immediately replied, "The moon should belong to all humanity. What gives your company the right to develop and exploit it?"
Shen Bing smiled faintly. "Then what gives your country the right to occupy the Korean Peninsula?"
The reporter replied proudly, "That land has been our national territory since ancient times. Our ancestors lived there for generations."
Shen Bing shrugged. "So, when you get right down to it, your ancestors simply got there first and claimed it?"
The reporter was no fool. He immediately spotted the trap.
But before he could offer much of a rebuttal, Shen Bing continued, "Since it all comes down to first come, first served, the same naturally applies to space development. Whoever claims it first owns it. Nothing wrong with that, is there?"
The Korean reporter's face twitched. Could he argue against that? If he did, he might end up arguing his own country's territory out of existence.
That was, after all, the fundamental principle behind the methods of determining territorial ownership generally accepted around the world.
Shen Bing then added with a smile, "Actually, there's no need to get hung up on who owns outer space. The universe is vast and boundless, with countless planets out there. Anyone capable of claiming them is welcome to do so. As long as they aren't planets naturally suited to human life, nobody will fight you over them."
Everyone inwardly despised the way Shen Bing acted magnanimous after taking all the benefits for himself. Who else in the world was currently capable of developing the moon? Only Phantom Immortal
