After hearing those remarks, everyone exchanged glances.
"I believe all of you have already taken the same steps to obtain the Body-Strengthening Exercise now circulating widely in Huaxia," the United States President said. "The two leaders who spoke just now were right. What is out in the open no longer matters. What truly matters is the part Huaxia has kept hidden. I think we should unite and demand that Huaxia make this technology, which benefits all humanity, public."
The President's words won everyone's approval.
If you had some ridiculously impressive technology, they could live with that. At worst, they would buy your products.
But this technology was different. It could make people stronger, healthier, and even longer-lived.
It was a technology, a body of knowledge, and a crystallization of wisdom. It should not belong to any one person, but to all humanity.
"But... Huaxia is too powerful now..." the French president muttered, sounding a little aggrieved.
Everyone's gaze involuntarily turned toward the young president. They practically wanted to tear him apart.
Damn it, could you not say something so discouraging at a time like this? You're killing morale!
"President Mark, your thinking is still too subjective. We aren't seeking benefits for any one person or any one nation, but for all humanity, including the Huaxia people. After all, the more advanced technology is currently in the hands of the Huaxia Government. Even the Huaxia people themselves don't get to benefit from it. Don't you think they should stand up and fight for it too?"
The French president nodded. That did seem reasonable.
"Since no one has any objections, let's pool the information we each have and plan ahead to improve our chances of success," the United States President said.
Everyone began offering their thoughts, and their approach grew increasingly clear.
