A week past the due date, back in the hospital-taking time off

At the morning checkup, there was too little amniotic fluid, so the doctor suggested another ultrasound that afternoon to see whether a C-section was needed. But by afternoon, the fluid level had gone back up.

Still, it had been over 41 weeks, so to keep the placenta from aging, they would induce labor tomorrow morning and see if a natural delivery was possible. Either way, they couldn't let him keep nurturing that breath of Primordial Qi any longer. One way or another, he had to leave the womb and enter the world in the next couple of days...

I might need to take a few days off this time.
