Luo Qian was delighted. Wei Shandong had never tended his Planet and knew next to nothing about it. After ascending to become a Saint, he had taken one look from outside the Planet, then headed straight for more populated places. Over a thousand years of breeding, the animals here had grown surprisingly numerous, especially in the forests and oceans, where quite a few enormous, ferocious beasts lived. Luo Qian thought selling them as part of his Landscaping Industry would work nicely. Or he could develop the place into a hunting destination.
The four skimmed over the sea for a while. A huge shadow burst from the water with a tremendous splash and lunged at them, its bloody maw wide open. The monster looked somewhat like a shark, but it had a crocodile's head. It was three to four hundred meters long, and its head alone took up a third of its body. Rows of teeth lined its jaws like a meat grinder, while a row of nostrils atop its head fired jets of water powerful enough to do real damage.
Without even looking at the monster, one bodyguard pointed a finger. There was no great display, but the creature shuddered, and the seawater around it crackled. Strength abruptly drained from its massive body, and it sank limply beneath the waves, leaving a small whirlpool on the surface.
Sometimes a beast's instincts were frightening. Luo Qian and the others were invisible, yet the monster had located its prey by scent alone. It was astonishing.
The four flew around the Planet and gained a rough grasp of its development. Luo Qian breathed a sigh of relief. "Good. No intelligent life." The Planet was essentially in Earth's primeval age. Super-sized beasts inhabited the sea, and any land creature that ventured near the ocean
