"Run! That thing's so heavy, it can't be an ordinary Leaping Corpse anymore!" Tang Changsheng's eyes flashed. His Yin Soldier flew out and lunged at the Zombie.
Tang Changsheng grabbed Da Xiang and sprinted back the way they had come without even looking to see what happened.
It was only a Grade D Yin Soldier. Even with a Ghost Artifact, its ability to attack physical bodies was limited. Against a living person, it would have been formidable.
But against a Zombie of this caliber, it lacked the means.
The Yin Soldier probably could not hold it for long!
Sure enough, the two had barely reached the outer courtyard's covered walkway when the Zombie came after them.
Its heavy thudding made Tang Changsheng's brow twitch.
That thing was definitely no ordinary Leaping Corpse!
Of course, if it had been the only monster there, Tang Changsheng would not have minded turning back to fight.
He was confident he could kill it. But they were in dangerous territory... who knew what else might be lurking there?
Fortunately, the Zombie's body was heavy, and it was not particularly fast. By the time it reached the walkway, the two had already crossed more than half of it.
The walkway's floor seemed to be made of wooden planks, evidently of excellent timber.
But who knew how many years they had been there, especially in such a damp place?
The heavy Zombie charged after them. With a crack, it broke through a plank.
Ripples spread across the water beneath the mist, and a white line streaked swiftly across its surface.
Another enormous Corpse Catfish lunged at the Zombie's leg where it had fallen into the water.
Crash! Half the walkway collapsed, Glazed Tiles and all.
Fortunately, the collapse stopped there instead of setting off a chain reaction
