"Pfft..."

It was as if the white man had been punched square in the face. He spat out a mouthful of blood, and bloody tears and mucus streamed from his eyes and nose. He looked wretched.

Even so, he laughed. "Good, good, good! A Grade A Esper really is formidable. But why don't you try that again?"

He suddenly tore open his clothes, revealing the explosives strapped beneath them. "Want to die with me?" he laughed.

Master Tang did not look the least bit shaken. "You're with Ultimate Care? One of the Long-Haired Remnants?"

The man's smile faltered. He could no longer laugh. Master Tang had plainly hit the mark.

Master Tang had only asked to test him. Even an Esper would have no hope of escaping a plane crash. It was certain death.

Only the Long-Haired Remnants—or rather, an Evil Cult like Ultimate Care—could send an Esper on a suicide mission!

He had merely taken a stab in the dark. He had not expected to be right.

"Your plot has already failed. You won't be able to carry it out. Look, the Fighter Jet is here!"

Through the window, two Fighter Jets could be seen flanking the passenger plane. They were clearly trying to contact it. If anything went wrong, they would immediately fire Missiles and shoot it down.

"So what? With you dying alongside me, I've already come out ahead!"

With a shout, the man moved to press the detonator. But outside the window, a mass of flames suddenly rose from the sprawling city below, staining the glass bloodred.

"Hahaha! It's hit! See that? The first plane has already hit!"

He roared with laughter, but as he laughed, he sensed something was wrong.

*Why was the explosion so enormous? It was practically as powerful as a nuclear bomb.
