Outside Greece, demons from myth and legend watched Cornelius and Krov with malicious eyes. The marks left on their bodies by the Missiles were fading fast. As creatures created by the Floating City, these demons possessed innate magic. Unless they were struck by attacks imbued with Mystic Power or exhausted their magic, they could regenerate without limit.

Some demons with special abilities could even come back to life. As long as their souls were not destroyed, or the objects through which they were reborn remained intact, they could resurrect endlessly.

"Roar! I may not like that vile, foul-smelling bull, but that gives you no right to kill him for good!"

A hundred dragon heads turned toward Cornelius and Krov in unison, their eyes filled with hatred.
