Ascend to Heaven through self-sacrifice?
Osaka Masayoshi thought for a moment and recalled a passage he had once written in the "Omnipotence Bible": Christmas was the sacred day of the Lord's birth. To welcome him, the gates of Heaven would open, and holy angels would descend to sing his praises. At that moment, believers who took their own lives could have their sins absolved through a priest's Indulgence, ascend to Heaven, and enjoy immortality.
The problem is, I copied that passage.
Back when he was trying to win over believers in America, he had posed as a follower of other denominations and obtained a number of their texts. Then he had cobbled bits and pieces together into a "Bible."

Osaka Masayoshi thought for a moment, then spoke in his soothing voice. "The Lord created the mortal world as a place for believers to be tested."
"Every hardship believers face in this world is a trial from the Lord. We
