The eerie scene outside the stone chamber soon caught the attention of everyone inside. When they saw what was happening, a chill crept over them.

"What... what is that?" Catherine stared at the gray mist, trembling. Her heart suddenly raced as fear spread through her.

One of the mercenaries moved closer to their commander, Charaman, and asked in a low voice.

Officially, they were private mercenaries who had retired from the US Marine Corps. In secret, they had always taken orders from the US Department of Defense.

This time, the department had sent them to seize the Eye of Horus, which might be a supernatural Divine Artifact. It had given them access to information kept secret from ordinary people, so they knew just how terrifying supernatural powers could be.
