The Unmanned Cargo Truck Ning Qing had booked arrived.
It looked squat and clumsy, with a boxy shape and no cab; almost its entire body was a cargo hold. The model Ning Qing had booked was about the size of an ordinary mini-truck, but without a driver's cab or passenger compartment, it could carry considerably more.
She could open the cargo hold automatically through her phone.
Chen Shu began helping load the flowers.
The little girl joined in too.
They might have been only flowers, but there were nearly a hundred pots in the yard. Even with all their crowns pruned away, the pots alone took up plenty of space.
They were all large plants at least a few years old, in large pots. Once they had covered the entire floor of the cargo hold, there still wasn't room for all of them. Fortunately, some had been pruned more heavily, while others had fewer branches to begin with. A smaller pot could fit into the gaps between several larger ones.
They stacked them like that, secured everything, and were done.
They closed the cargo hold and tapped confirm.
The boxy little truck drove away.
It would head to an inspection station for the required checks. Once it passed, it would deliver the cargo to its destination automatically.
From Bai City to Jade Capital, the highway route was longer than the High-Speed Rail route. The truck could do no more than 120 kilometers an hour and wouldn't stop along the way. Allowing for possible traffic jams, it should arrive in about two days.
The yard suddenly looked empty. Only two roses planted in the ground remained; Ning Qing had dug up the others.
One was a Climbing Rose, the other a Bush Rose.
Both were growing well, healthy and lush.
