"Amitabha." The warrior monk smiled and shook his head. "That won't make a good picture. Please follow my directions."
"Huh?" Chen Shu froze.
"Look, it's noon, the fog has cleared, and the sunlight is too direct and harsh for an ordinary photo. But the shadows of the Bodhi tree's bare branches fall right below it. If you step back a little and stand under the tree, I can shoot from this angle and keep the other visitors out of frame. The shot will have only you in the light and shadow, with the Bodhi tree and dark-red courtyard wall behind you. It'll look clean, and with some background blur, the play of light and shadow will look rather lovely."
"L-let's try it..." Chen Shu was dubious.
"That Cat patron, please don't sit so close to the lady. Leave about a foot... yes, that much space. Sit up a little straighter."
