May 7.
Chen Shu went out early, ate breakfast at the dining hall on Jade Summit Mountain, then began wandering around.
The Jade Summit Mountains had thirty-three peaks. Only the one beneath his feet was called Jade Summit Mountain.
The outermost peaks were open to tourists, forming a commercial district much like an old town, with shops and tourist facilities. Farther in were the places where outer disciples worked, trained, and lived. The innermost peaks housed the inner disciples. Jade Summit Mountain, at the center, was generally home to the sect's leading figures and core buildings. It was no small thing for Chen Shu to have been assigned lodgings there.
Chen Shu walked all the way from Jade Summit Mountain, at the innermost point, to the old town on the outskirts. He even scored some free shredded Beef and tried a fish spa.

Steward He sent a message asking where he was, then quickly came to find him.
"If you wanted to look around, you should've told me. I could've shown you around and explained things along the way."
"I thought you might be busy. Didn't want to bother you."
"It's no bother... This is my job. I was going to show you the sect grounds and facilities today anyway. Otherwise, you wouldn't know where to go when you needed something." Steward He continued, "Come on. I'll take you to Finance first, then the Logistics Department."
"Finance? Logistics Department?"
"Habit... Don't worry about the names. Call them whatever you like. The Spirit Sect is pretty open-minded."
"Fair enough."
As the first sect to embrace modern theories, and a cradle for countless modern scholars,
