October 26, sunny.
The third day of survival on Lonely Island.
The sea was still empty. There was no sign of a ship.
Some strange force seemed to blanket this place. It blocked satellite communications, and even the communicator Spirit Sect had given me got no response. This was clearly no ordinary island in the open ocean, either. I had no idea why those two Dragon Whales had brought me here.
Still, life here was rather pleasant. At least I had Qingqing with me. Even if all we did was eat three meals a day and pass the time, I wouldn't get bored.
I should write down what happened today.
This morning I made a pot of Seafood Porridge. It smelled wonderful.
Other than that, today's main tasks were decorating the house and building a channel and pools.
Because a storm might be coming.
I spent two hours searching this morning but found no underground fresh water nearby. There was no need to draw water from the lake, though, even if its water was clear. I found a Stream formed by a Mountain Spring beside it.
Haha, how clever of me.
Building the channel was harder than I'd imagined, though. First I had to clear a path and remove the weeds and fallen leaves. Then I thought I could use the Trench Spell to compress the soil and carve out a channel. Once the soil was packed hard enough to stop water seeping through, the water flowing down it should stay fairly clean. Unfortunately, the channel was too long, and the first water to come through was inevitably a little muddy.
Perhaps it would gradually clear up.
But as a diligent person who pursued perfection, I wanted everything firmly under my control.
So I blocked the channel and redesigned it
