Though a sea of people separated the Twin Stones, each saw only the other. No one else existed in their eyes.
"We'll meet on the battlefield."
Shi Hao spoke softly. Shi Yi glanced up at the Void Battlefield created by the Lord of the Future and nodded, his gaze deep.
Then both rose into the air and flew straight into the battlefield.
Shi Hao's large eyes shone brightly. He stood at ease in the Void Battlefield, looking Shi Yi over.
Shi Yi's eyes could no longer be seen clearly. A chaos-like mist swirled within them, as though he meant to see straight through his opponent.
Shi Hao was relaxed, Shi Yi composed. Their temperaments differed sharply, yet they shared much in common.
Both were striking and imposing. Merely standing there, they drew every eye.
Both seemed like Heavenly Gods descended to the mortal world, looking down on the heroes with the air of rulers surveying their domain.
"Little big brother, it's been ten years. I've missed you terribly." Shi Hao smiled.
"I'll give you a proper welcome this time. I hope you get the chance to cry."
To cry, he would first have to survive.
The dead had no chance to cry.
Shi Yi's expression did not ripple. He said calmly,
"You're still like a child."
"Heh." Shi Hao laughed. "I'm only eleven. Little big brother, how old are you?"
Shi Yi said nothing. He was already around fifteen.
Age was something best left undiscussed.
Shi Hao was an eleven-year-old child, roughly four years younger than him, yet they were at the same cultivation level.
If word got out and people compared them, Shi Yi would inevitably come off worse.
People made comparisons everywhere, and the age at which someone reached a given level was always a favorite measure.
