That day, All Living Beings struggling through the Dharma-Ending Age suddenly saw a God Tree rising to prop up the heavens.
The God Tree appeared golden from root to crown, blotting out the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands and bathing them in gold.
A closer look revealed that the tree itself was not golden. Raging golden flames burned across it!
"What is that?" All Living Beings marveled.
"Is a Dharma-Ending Age not enough? Will divine fire burn the heavens too?" someone asked bleakly, nearly in despair.
Over the past few months, Heaven's Will in the Dharma-Ending Age had plunged the entire Nine Heavens and Ten Lands into anguish. Apart from Mortals, almost no cultivator had escaped the Blade of Heaven's Will.
This was the worst of ages, worse even than the Shrouding the Heavens era.
Many who had lived for hundreds of thousands, even millions, of years had rapidly grown old in those few months, their oil spent and their lamps guttering.

They took it for another great calamity.
Golden flames churned across the God Tree, resembling fire dragons. They even formed wondrous visions of Golden Crows, Vermilion Birds, Fire Phoenixes, and more.
If such flames fell upon the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands, disaster would surely follow.
They would burn heaven and earth and destroy everything.
The God Tree kept growing. Its branches reached into the void, its leaves bore stars, and its roots plunged deep into the Nine Netherworlds.
Even the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands seemed unable to contain it.
Wind Tribulation, Fire Tribulation, Thunder Tribulation, Void Turbulence, Void Storms, and other terrifying phenomena appeared
